WE HAVE THESE PRECIOUS PROMISES

Isaiah 43:2

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.

Isaiah 26:3

You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!



It is encouraging to know that we are not alone in our struggles. To know we are not the only one going through a deep dark valley. I believe this is one of the key pieces of small groups that focus on Grief care, Divorce care, Addiction recovery groups like Alcoholics Anonymous, or support groups like AlAnon, to name a few.

But perhaps more encouraging are the constant promises of God, two of which we read today. Let’s read them again, as we you do I invite you to think of your life and the experiences where these promises have been fulfilled in your journey by our faithful God.

This week we have reflected on the amazing truth, that no matter what challenges, difficulties, obstacles, or afflictions we may face, GOD is with US. There is nothing more hopeful, powerful, and calming than to cling to Jesus, the one who is our Rock, Redeemer, Fortress, and Deliverer.
